Missions

This is a list of missions in which I have either personal experience or know people who have gone on the mission.

Northwest Haiti Christian Missions

The Northwest Haiti Christian Mission Canada, established in 2004, is an independent Christian organization devoted to serving the northwest region of Haiti in the name of Jesus Christ. Our ministry in Haiti includes short and long term mission trips, medical care, establishing and supporting local churches, evangelism and shipping donated supplies into the country. Presently we are looking forward to planting a church and eventually a new mission on the island of Tortuga which is lies off the coast of the northwest.

Internaim-canada-logo-4ctional Messengers

International Messengers offers creative short-term and career ministry opportunities in Eastern Europe and Uganda.

Its goals are to

(1) build God’s kingdom in Europe’s post-Communist countries and Uganda by partnering with established IM workers there.

(2) to stir revival in North American churches by encouraging believers to move from their pews into active participation in ministry.

It specializes in hosting evangelistic summer family camps across Eastern Europe. This requires more than 300 English-speaking North American volunteers annually.

Christian Veterinary Missions of Canada (CVMC)

CVMC Lots of exciting things happening here. I have been led to pray and help the mission in Sierra Leone. There is an orphanage, called Wellington, and a practical chicken farming enterprise that is helping individual farmers be self-sustaining.
